Here are the other layouts I mentioned in my post the other day. This first one is called "Thankful". I do one of these every November where I list what I am most thankful for that year. I have hidden journaling on the pull-out tag that reads:
I am so thankful that my whole family is still together and that we have hit a more stable time in our lives. I also am thankful for the beautiful addition to our family - Christian!
It's just such a miracle that Kevin is still with us and even more so at how well he is doing.
Anyway, here's the layout:
I really love the pale blues, whites and tans on this layout. I wanted the focus to really be on the B&W photo and I love how the harlequin stamp kinda pulls your eye in.
This next one I actually did in the wee hours of this morning. It's a layout of some folks up in NYC that have befriended us through my blog about Kevin. They touched my heart in a deep way and I plan to journal privately on the red cardstock about them.
I believe this one was created using my Birds of A Feather kit from months ago.
This last one is of Moe while we were in the Dominican Republic back in September. I fell in love with these IOD papers and knew just how I wanted to use them!
I especially love the touches of coral I added and I am so glad I found that twine while digging around through my ribbons. I think it just gave the finishing touch to this layout.
I have been scrapping quite a bit lately and I think it makes me just feel better as a person. Thankfully we are settled now and I have a 'real' scraproom! Life is good, eh?

A Scrappy Day
I have been scrapping on and off all day and man, was it fun! Some of the layouts won't be able to be uploaded until tomorrow as it was after dark and too late to take a picture, but I have a few others from the other day.
This first one is called "Those Eyes" and this photo just begged for that title, lol. Naturally, it's my grandson:
If I am not mistaken, everything but the red Thickers are Glitz Design from my Swirlydoos kit. I did use my new Ingvold Bolme craft knife to fussy cut the birds and I can't tell you how much I love it!
This next one needs a little work, I think. I keep toying with making some changes, but probably won't because I'm just lazy, lol.
I love this picture of my daughter. She was pretty far along in her pregnancy here and she honestly just glowed. I just think the layout needs something more behind the spritzed, crinkled paper. Other than that, I do like it. I love the Prima flowers - especially those small colorful roses. I also love that deep edge punch I used.
Next we have a layout with some photos of Kevin sitting outside of the house a couple of weeks ago. I love these photos of Kevin as it shows him being casual, something we don't see often.
The blacks and the greens really called out to me in these papers. I am really trying to use up some of the thousands of dollars of products I have here and as you can see - two items on this layout are REALLY old! First we have the DREAM title which is MM from maybe 10 years ago and then we have the old Technique Tuesday circle chipboard from probably about the same time. I did use my new Prima brick wall stencil though - loved that!
Last, I have my favorite. This is our new home that has offered stability - finally! It's been very hard not having a place to land - a place where ALL of our things can be All the time.
This paper is some older Bo Bunny (I think called Flutterby) with some newer Bo Bunny Welcome Home embellishments. I've had this Dusty Attic frame for a while now and I'm so glad I got to use that too. This one is simple, but I wanted to really focus on the photo of the house. I do intend to journal on the back about how great it feels to finally BE somewhere and to finally be able to stay in one place.
So that's it for tonight. I'll be back soon with the others I did today!

So far behind...
I just don't seem to have time to update this blog lately, lol. I am scrapping more though and I think that's a good thing.
So here are my newest layouts from my kit club C'est Magnifique!. I just love all these international papers!
I also created another and I am so happy to be using those deep edge punches I recently purchased!
If I haven't met my goal - I must be close. Gonna finally do it this year!
